Nothing is Impossible...

[Now where did my header go? Guess I'll have to sit today and resolve the issue. Let me admit, I hate taking care of technical stuff.Hmmm, well that is my blog, a mix of things that I dearly love to do and the technical side that I whine and postpone as much as I can, but eventually have to give a try!]

This week's Art Journal page is all about layers with stencils, modeling paste, and acrylic and watercolor paints. I tried pearlescent paints on the textured flowers and there is a shine to them .

Love the texture from the  modeling paste. But I am not happy with my writing on this page.
This is one of Julie's stencils that I got last week. I love her peacock feather stencil too. Planning to get that soon.

  1. such a fun and creatively textural and colorful page Susan! I don't think your handwriting is bad but I don't like mine either which is why I own many alphabet stamps to use or I type and print my words :) Love how you traced around the stenciled images. Gotta love Julie's stencils too!

  2. WOW WOW WOW!! Simply STUNNING!! Love the texture, how fun this is too see, great colors on this page also. Love how you always do something new and exciting each week, always makes me smile. The handwriting is good to me, honestly I just want to stare at the page and not the words, haha, it's so STUNNING!!
    Enjoy your weekend!

  3. Oh my, this is so rich in pattern and texture ... Hopefully the header will find its way home!

  4. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the texture!!. The most beautiful busy and textured pages I've seen this week!:) More is certainly more. WOW. I love the how the layers working together so perfectly. Oh, no worries about the lettering, the background is too gorgeous :). Or you could always wrote with black india ink over them, if you like. Hugs.

  5. Susan, the texture on this piece is amazing, so rich in colors and movement.

  6. Amazing use of texture on these pages!!!
