The Color of Spring
The color white has given way to bright yellow
Just as winter has changed to spring
Yellow daffodils have bloomed
And have brought much brightness into the room.
Sunshine and laughter are filled everywhere
Along with the bursting of buds and new born leaves
Shades of yellow are present everywhere
The color brings in much hope and cheer.
They say yellow is the color of friendship
But I feel it’s the color for everyone
For the young and the old alike
It is the color of everlasting joy and warmth.
