For the last two weeks I have been obsessed with making pattern papers.
Here is one which is heavily textured with paints, stencils, pen and book paper.
I'm still continuing with Lisa Sonora Beam's class, Roots. Here are Day-12, 13 and 14.
Day-12 was about the need to take rest. I always feel guilty when I choose to take rest especially when there is much pending work. But I also know that without it I cannot get productive. I liked the quote she used, "Rest is a weapon" which I think is absolutely true. Instead of feeling guilty I should see Rest as a weapon against illness and inertia.
I did a very quick page for this [since it was about rest, I didn't want to spend hours on this-:)] Can you make out my sketch?
Day-13 was on the Recipe for Happiness. I found three recipes-:) Happiness on an everyday basis, General Happiness and the Happiness in my Dreams. I will share all about that on another post.
Day-14 "Paint as you like and die happy." -Henry Miller. The above page was done for this quote.
I'm enjoying doing these pages but my daily sketching has been put on the back burner.
I'm linking my creations to PPF and ArtJournalEveryday
