Custom element

The last theme for March at DLP was on making a custom element. The journal prompt was, "Ride the energy of your own unique spirit." Gabrielle Roth

I started my page like this. There was some  leftover  paint.

Next I added that woman's image, some handmade paper strips and a paper doily.

Hmm!  I didn't like the outcome.Covered the image with white and black. Added a touch of yellow and stencil led some red diamond patterns over it.
Then I of course forgot the task of taking pictures. Instead I went to town with my acrylic paints
The result was the lovely background you see above.

Next came the custom element. It is a cut out from a magazine. But I customised the image by adding gold and red glitter over her lovely bridal wear and accessories. I finished with some doodles on her face using white pen.

I ended my page with some journaling over it. Love how different elements have come together in this page.
That is all for this week.
Wishing you all a happy  Easter.
