Faux Gelli Print Page

April 18th Challenge: Gelli Plate
I love my gelli plate but now as I am in India, I firs felt lost when I saw the challenge from arttothe5th team.

I didn'T want to miss out on this prompt so after some thinking this is what I came up with. I had this plastic transparent folder which I felt could be used like a gelli plate.
See the messy but colorful folder in the above photo? My first layer of printing is next to it.
Next I added the black print.

See my folder, all ready for transferring the next print-:)

And this is the result!

I added some handmade paper scrap, more 'gelli' printed circles, some doodling and this is the final result.

There,my art and journaling spread-:) I am so happy that I could do this challenge with the plastic folder.
Those who don't have a gelli plate,  no worries try this. You just need to act fast as the paints tend to dry quick on the plastic.

Thank you for  checking

  4. Necessity is the mother of invention!! Good job....I just used to paint one page and smack it again the other.... and keep doing that before I had a geli plate...I still do that on occasion! Beautiful results!

  5. I don't have a gelli plate (yet!) but I tried the plastic version once. It's really fun! Wetting the paper first seems to help a little. Beautiful job! Happy PPF!
