"Rest and be thankful"

Today I have my Vitamin C supplement drink and more of my daily sketches from Last week I was down with the flu and realized the need to slow down. Life had been too busy for me, and sometimes I think  sickness arrives to help us realize the need to take some quality rest time.
For the last few days I have consciously taken my time and have been trying to do everything slow. I especially have taken care in sleeping well. I'm an early morning person but now I'm trying to be in bed for couple of hours more than my usual waking time.I feel it has given me better  focus and energy during the rest of the day.
So thankful that now I'm back to normal.
Here are some more of my daily sketches :

Day 7 Candy My little one identified them as gummy bears:-)

Day 9, 10 Butterflies and Balloons The butterflies were done with Sharpie pens.

Day- 11 Bows

Day-12 Seed Pods

Day 15 and 16 House Plants and Watering Cans

That is all for this Tuesday. Linking my page to Elizabeth's
T Stands for Tuesday
Hope you all have a lovely week

  1. Glad you're feeling better and took the time to rest more. I believe too that a flareup or illness is a reminder either to slow down, pay more attention or take another path even. Your sketch pages are always so lovely! Happy T day!

  2. I love your seed pods and plants best. They put me in the mind of Spring and more sunshine! :) Happy T Tuesday!

  3. Glad you are feeling better.
There really is no substitute for rest is there.
Lovely sketches...your nature pages speak to me especially.
    Happy T Day dear Susan

  4. I'm so glad you are feeling better and a bit more rested. Listen to your body, I always say.
    Your drawings are lovely.
    Happy T-day,

  5. Hmm-what's in your vitamin C drink? And great sketches I love them!!!!!

  6. I love your paintings! Take care not to do too much too soon! Happy T day! Chrisx

  7. I am so sorry that I am late getting here. I knew I'd be late, but I didn't expect to be THIS late. Gosh, those daily sketches are simply incredible. You are such an excellent, excellent artist. I am truly impressed with your art.

Glad to read you are feeling better, but like Chris, I suggest taking it slow and easy, just like you are trying to do, now. Thanks for sharing your Vitamin C drink AND your incredible art with us for T this Tuesday. At least, it's still Tuesday in my world!

  8. LOVE the seed pod sketch so very much!

  9. Great sketches! I love the seed pods the best, too. :)
Yes, sometimes our bodies are trying to tell us something. I'm listening to mine--finally--LOL!
    Best to you. Love, Rita
