Listen to the Music of the Rain

Hi there
Thank you all  for visiting my blog. You spending time to go through my posts mean so much to me and many many Thanks to all who take time to write a line or two here.

This week I did a simple collage. The background was done using acrylic paints. The umbrella and the raindrops have been cut from an old music sheet that I got from a yard sale-:) and for the writing and the girl I used Pitt pens. The dress of the girl was done using alphabet stamps and Yes! lastly,I splattered India ink on the page.

I have more of those pretty music sheets and I think my creativity will work around them in the coming days.

  2. Hi Susan, this is such a gorgeous page!. She is LOVELY. I LOVE the musical rain :). I love to play in the rain too when I was small, and nowadays I stuck my hands out my window just to 'play' in the rain, LOL. Hugs.

  3. What a really sweet page! I love your musical umbrella and rain drops and the girl with the alphabet dress is just darling! We actually had thunderstorms rolling thru last eve and I just had to sit outside a bit and even jump in a puddle-nothing like it in the summertime.

  4. Susan, beautiful, colorful pages. BTW, I used Twinklings H20 on that painting. I use them all the time. They are my favorite medium. How many did you order? I started with the little kit of 6, then upgraded to the 20 something pack that has been suggested by Dion Dior, and now I just by the colors that make me happy. I love this medium so much. They are beautiful and the mica in it adds such beautiful spark to the painting.

Dawn, I love, love the music sheets that I got. Will be creating more with it.
Shahrul, I am always in love with the rain-:)
Linda how awesome, did you really do that? When my son jumps on puddles, sometimes I restrain myself from stopping him. Aren't such things the pleasures of childhood?
    Thank you Ana
