Daily Journal

Once again a peek into my daily journal. My daily journal is a mix of day to day things, to do lists, quick sketches and doodles.

All that I've used here are my watercolors, gesso, black pen and of course a journal. It's not beauty or perfection that matter but, for me my journal is kind of my best friend and my memory keeper. If you feel like you need to get many things out of your system or your mind get a book and just start. Set yourself free, release those thoughts and creativity that are tangled inside and most important let go of any expectations. I assure you, eventually it brings clarity to your thoughts and helps you to keep a light and easy mind:)

Thank you for visiting and I hope you'll let me know your thoughts about my pages.
Wishing you all a great weekend.

  1. Hi! Your journal pages are so beautiful! I just had to leave a comment and say how much I enjoyed your work here. I love to read how other journalers feel when they create and write... When I don't do art journaling for a few days, I don't feel as good, or as much myself...it feels so natural to release onto a page, doesn't it? Your black eyed susans are gorgeous! ~Kathy

  2. I agree with you and Kathy - journalling helps get things out on paper where you can get a good look at them and see themes and patterns. My family can tell if I haven't had time to journal for a few days and they send me straight to my room to do something :) These pages are so colourful - fabulous flowers!

  3. Susan, you have amazed me again. I think flowers are your gift my friend, lovely as always. How nice that you have this place to play in and keep record of your days, I should start doing this. These are really really beautiful, so happy for you enjoying your art and the process of it. Those fall trees are gorgeous, they are on my list to create also. Thanks for inspiring me again, might just have to start a daily journal.
    Have a great weekend!

  8. I love it Susan. I art journal...and add quotes or important things I want to remember...but my 'diary' type journal is sadly without art. I think I'll spend some time painting the pages in it while I'm on vacation. Thanks for the inspiration of your beautiful pages.
