Over here

Earlier this year I'd joined the  online class of two very talented ladies, Christy Tomlinson and Junelle Jacobson's, The Art of Wild Abandonment. There is a Facebook group for this class and in my experience this is one of the best community that I've ever been to. Even after all these months this group is still going strong and  all the wonderful women out there support and encourage each others work. It's really amazing to see how much inspiration you can get from this group.
Some weeks ago one of the members initiated a postcard exchange. This was my first experience and couple  of days ago I received my first postcard.

This beautiful card was sent by Laurie May,  http://lauriescharmingdesigns.blogspot.com/ .She has created a beautiful watercolor painting on the fall theme.I am so glad that I found you and your blog Laurie, through this postcard exchange and once again thank you for the card.
Many many thanks to Dira Reeves who came up with the postcard exchange idea.We might do this again soon:)

One more thing I wanted to share was this fall wreath that I made for the season.

This is my first time in making a wreath.Got the ring for a dollar from Target, wound it with this ribbon that I'd in my stash and glued the painted leaves on one side and presto I got my fall wreath ready.

Hope you too are having a crafty fall.
Thank you for visiting. Now I'm off to go and carve a pumpkin with my son [just going to try, this is our first time:)]

  2. Hi Susan! What a pretty postcard you received in the mail. What a great job she did on this and love that it's fall related too. What a fun idea for that class to share these with each other. Would love to see the postcard you made.

HOORAY your wreath is done, my favorite thing is you added your own leaves to it. I think it came out great and was practically FREE which is always a bonus. Let's hope I can get one done too and share it. You should make one for Christmas too!!

Thanks for this fun post, loved it!!
