When life kicks you...

This is a page that I created with just three colors: pink, white and silver. I love this page for its simplicity and also that it was created for a specific reason.
This week's challenge by the Inspiration Avenue team is based on Breast Cancer Awareness. We have to create art using pink and white and this is my take on the challenge:

The inspiring quote says: "When life kicks you, let it kick you forward." [Kay Yow]

This challenge reminded me a few things about health. The need to exercise, to eat healthy and to go for regular check ups. Consistency is the key and that is what I lack. I admire people who regularly take walks or go to the gym.

This month I've decided to stop making winter as an excuse and to start  an exercise routine.

I am linking this page to paintpartyfriday and Inspiration Avenue
Thank you for checking

  4. Hi Susan, I like the style!
It reminds me of Mary Quant - a little bit pop art.

  8. Great page! I love the message behind it. Just had a look at your previous posts, and that class by Joanne Sharpe looks like a lot of fun. I might be tempted .... Good luck with your exercise routine! Consistency is what I lack too, so I completely understand what you're saying .... ;-)

Just so you know I was playing around with my blog settings and deleted that whole post so I could try to repost it again but it didn't work. Going to keep playign with it but I did see your comment.

  15. Wonderful painting. . . . butterflies are Freeing. . . and inspiring. . . my church had a 21-day Prayer/Fasting and during that time I powered up my walking (outside, but on treadmill when weather was bad) to 4 miles (2 miles 2x a day). After 21 days, everything you do becomes a habit. This was a great habit to be in. . . (last 21 days of January). My body clock knows when it is time to walk, I actually have no say. . I like that about a habit, you can't help it, you just do it. Good luck and Blessings, Janet PPF
