T stands for Tuesday and more Art pages.

Hello there I hope you all are safe and sound. The snow storm is in full strength here.

It is again time to share the art that I did in the last 3-4 days at T stands for Tuesday.  Thank you Elizabeth for giving an opportunity to share my work at your lovely place.

The prompts are from Lisa Sonora Beam's 30 day Journal Project: Root

Day 16: "And don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It is quiet but the roots are down there riotous." Rumi

I found a beautiful vellum page in a magazine and added that with my journal page. Again I have incorporated a lot of technique into this page with glimmer mist, modeling paste, gesso and white ink.

Day 17 She stresses the need to overcome our fear and just play with our art and how then we can experience wonder in our art .
This is actually a page that I had done a long time ago. I did it from a you tube tutorial and totally forgot about it. While I was cleaning up my shelves, I found it and decided to put it to use.

Day 18 The prompt was about how life's struggles and difficulties can make a person tougher.

Day 19 For this day she has given us the freedom to use a quote that has inspired us.
This is the page that I did today over a cup of hot tea. On a gelli printed background I stamped with a handmade stamp and shaded them with Twinkling H2O's.
I do keep a book to write down inspiring quotes and the one I have used here is from Pinterest.
"A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and realize how Blessed you are."

Day 20 "Enjoy your Presence."
This is again a gelli printed background and the hearts were done using Twinks.
Thank you for being here.

  1. Susan, these pages are just beautiful. Looks like you are getting a lot out of that class. I especially like the last two with the gelli plate backgrounds and the Twinks. They are divine. And those hearts made mine very happy.

Thanks beyond belief for sharing your tea and your great art with us today. It is all beautiful.

  3. Great pages. I'm reading about gelli plates everywhere so I'm quite interested in seeing pages where the plates have been used in the design.
