T for Tree art

Hello dear Elizabeth and all my Tea friends. I am sharing my bottle of plain water and my tree art today.
That's my older son on the right, busy with his sketching. I am so Thankful for the love of art that we share with each other.
This is a project that I am planning to teach some little art lovers here. I am so happy to have received such an opportunity.
Will share more on this later-:)

Of course, these paintings are based on the seasons. I thoroughly enjoyed creating them and I hope the kids too will love it.

One more thing I wanted to share with you is on how I was suffering from  a bad back last week and from there I took a leap of faith and joined a yoga class here. It was something that  I always wanted to learn but I never had the courage to start. Guess, this was the right time!
This was one of the best choices that I had made recently and within three days my back was completely cured.
I highly recommend  it. Yoga is good for both the mind and body and I hope to continue with it in future.
Being consistent with my choices is the biggest  challenge that I always face. Are you consistent with your passions in life? What motivates you  to keep going?

  4. Your four seasons trees are wonderful and how exciting that you'll be sharing that with young budding artists Susan!
Very happy to hear that yoga has helped your back.
I practiced Kundalini yoga for many years but stopped because of some severe back issues that I had at the time. I am so grateful for the teachings and all that I have learned and still incorporate in my life.
Wishing you and yours a Happy T Day

  5. Good for you with the Yoga class. I've been going to the chiropractor again after falling at work last week. I have a sprained mid and low back...who knew you could do that?!?! I do enjoy yoga in the comfort of my own home. I haven't gotten brave enough to join a class. You may inspire me to do it once I get cleared from this injury.
Love the seasons of your tree painting.
    Happy T day!

  7. Your seasonal trees are beautiful, I wish I was taking your class. I'm very happy to hear that your back is better. I don't think I could do the poses for yoga, but admit to never having tried. Maybe one day I will. Happy T Day :D

  8. I stopped by about noon and was just getting ready to leave a reply when I lost power. Just now got it back. Your trees are wonderful and the children will love making them, if you are their art teacher! After all, your son is an example of a great artist.

Glad your back is better. I somehow doubt I could get into some of those positions I've seen because my hands and wrists don't bend like normal people's do. There are many positions I can't get in because of my arthritis (I was born with), and I have finally learned not to push it. As for being motivated, I've never had that problem!

Thanks for sharing your amazing seasonal trees and yoga experience with us for T this Tuesday. Again, I apologize for being so late, but you can thank my energy provider for the snafu.

  12. Hello Susan! I'm happy your son loves art as you do too. I was just thinking of trees in seasons the other day and now I can enjoy seeing yours. They are wonderful!! YAY for teaching little ones about art too, that is so perfect for you.
Sorry to hear about your back but I'm glad the yoga helped and that you tried it. You know my sister is a big yoga fan.
Thanks for the comment on my blog, love sharing the pictures with you. Can't wait till you can catch up in your PL friend. All those sweet memories and family will be nice to look back on. It is a bit warmer these last two days, I went out yesterday and soaked it up when I could. We are in the end of the school excitement over here, all the fun end of the year stuff and waiting for Kristin to be home at the end of May too. Stay well and keep sharing your art. Hugs! Dawn
