New Inspirations

 Welcome November -:)

My morning cup of tea and the first page for this month in my sketching journal.

Today, I want to share with you an art community named, creativebug.com Last month, I happened to see their site by chance and was simply amazed at the classes that were being offered. They have many artists from different art streams who offer various classes from painting to baking, quilting, paper art and so on. It has a monthly subscription of $4.99/ and we can cancel it anytime.

So, here is one of my creations inspired by a wonderful class by Lisa Congdon. Her art for me was so relaxing and filled with immense opportunity to explore patterns and shapes.

 A collage and doodled work

All these art works have been created in my handmade watercolor journal.

I'm linking my post to Elizabeth's Tea Stands for Tuesday I have seen people who have different kinds of artistic interests in our 'Tea' group and I think this site will be helpful to some of you.
Wish you all a happy week
Susan

  5. I was just getting ready to refill my coffee, thinking I was finished visiting everyone, when I realized I had NOT visited you. For that I am deeply sorry. It was a genuine oversight on my part.

Your flowers are simply stunning. I don't draw, but I think these are terrific. You may have had a good teacher, but you also have a very natural talent, dear.

Thanks for sharing your tea and your incredible art (as well as your new journal) with us for T this Tuesday. So happy I didn't miss this post.

  9. Thanks for telling us about the course you have done. I love that art work. It's the sort of thing I love to do. So I've been to Lisa's web site and I might just have a go at that. I don't have brush markers. Did you use water colours?
    Have a great week,
    Happy T-day,
    Lisca
