Once again a peek into my daily journal.
I drew this hazy sketch of a slice of cake [Not happy with how it turned out, need to learn and practice sketching more] to preserve the simple celebration we'd on my birthday. One of my friends baked a cake for me and it was delicious.[ I love it even more when I receive handmade gifts.]
The little birdies' sketch on top is from a card I received from another 'little' friend. This year's birthday was really special for me with thoughtful gestures and beautiful little surprises from my dear family and friends.
This page is from a work that I slightly altered after taking the Strathmore online class, Traci Bautista's 'Doodles Unleashed'.
A collage I did with the leftover flowers that I had after doing last week's Art Journal page.
Here is another one that I loved making with a picture from the magazine, a butterfly stamp, punchinella, paints and pen.
This one is of course my favorite.
Most of the time the output of my creativity will be totally different from what I had in my mind.This page is an example of that. After doing the background I kept on adding more layers of paint and paper.

You have really been arting it up lately Susan! Love your Traci style doodling (something I still have to get to)and sketching. Happy belated birthday! Oh, and that last page - LOVE IT!!!! The quote is a good one too-I do love quotes. Thanks for sharing!
