Believe In You

"Believe You Can and You're Halfway There." [Theodore Roosevelt]

This week's page was created out of simple art materials.
On the left I'd smeared some left-over paint and gesso. I stamped over that using a lemon. Cut a lemon into half, dip it in the paint of your choice and stamp it wherever you want. I was actually doing craft with the kids: stamping using lemon, green pepper and a slice of carrot. I loved the impression left by the lemon and did the same on my art journal page.
I then collaged using a picture from my stash. Finally some brush marks and ink splatter.

On the right I did some flowers using watercolor and wrote the quote using a brush pen.

Thanks and wishing for you and me a much cooler weekend-:)
