Root Days 27 -30

Wow! January has come to an end. Feeling Thankful for my family, health, art, laughter, remembering to be compassionate ( this one has really helped me when I felt that some people were just unfair and thankless...)
" Not everyone thinks the way you think, knows the things you know, believes the things you believe, nor acts the way you would act. Remember this and you will go a long way in getting along with people."
Arthur Forman Just wanted to share this meaningful quote here.

I have finished Lisa Sonora Beam's free 30 Day Project, Root.
Day 27 - "The chief enemy of creativity is good sense" Pablo Picasso
I did a page out of pure imagination where the rolling waves were yellow and orange, tea cups became boats and sails were made up of flowers. The above quote helped me so much in creating this page.
Day 28 -  The quote was about  how senseless it is to go after perfection.Another page with watercolors and collage elements.

Day - 29 Lisa had given a prompt on the wild creative force which each one of us has... In this page and the next one I shifted my colors to bright, fluorescent pink, blue, green and orange. I''m totally in love with these colors now and you will be seeing more of them here.

Day - 30 The last prompt of this project. "Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come." Chinese Proverb.
I enjoyed doing this project so much. It inspired me to create every day and I managed to create at least 15-20 minutes every day. I hope I can continue creating this way in the coming days. Tomorrow starts the next new challenge, 29 Faces hosted by Ayala Art. I want to try creating 29 faces again. I loved doing this last fall.
One more page to share, I did this for the Week -4 challenge  at http://journal52.com/week-4/. The prompt was to create a page with a character you admire or dream to be. I did this collage and added a lovely line, 'She is a woman with a wish bone, a back bone and a funny bone."

Linking this week's page with PPF and art-journal-every-day
Thank you
