Week in the Life and Sunflowers

Week in the Life 2015 :This year I decided to join Ali Edward's Week in the Life project for the first time. I saw the post on Dawn's blog and found it very interesting to document a week's story from our lives.
Day-1 All these pictures are from yesterday.Sadly, I didn't take that many photos but am content with whatever i have taken. My mornings  usually start off with my journal. I love to write down the things i have to do for each day.
I'm also linking my post to Elizabeth's  T stands for Tuesday My drink for yesterday morning was lemon water. I usually have a glass of it and then only I make my morning tea.

Some days,  I start off with 20-30 minutes of Yoga. I clicked this picture on my yoga mat.

I then went for a walk to the nearby park.

The children had a bit of study time. Even during holidays we combine fun with some writing and reading. My youngest has started with his writing.

Mondays I usually have to tackle a lot of household chores. A click just after mopping my floors.
I did have laundry, cooking and more chores. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of each thing that I was doing. This is the same thing that happens when I do art. I never remember to click the step by step process-:)
The children watching their favorite programs

In the evening I made a trip to the library,my all time favorite place.
While returning it was raining, yet the sun was still shining.

Some weeks we just have salads for dinner. I had made a yummy salad with quinoa, arugula, black beans, corn, cucumbers, tomatoes,  onion and chicken.
The day ended with me having a splitting headache. Then I took a tablet, went on to edit all my pictures and went to bed.

A Trip to the Sunflower Farm
On Sunday, we visited a sunflower maze. Despite being a hot day, the children enjoyed walking through the maze.
Isn't she a beauty!

  2. You had a busy week, The sunflowers are wonderful. Your salad looked great, too. Good that the children do some studying in their vacations, I think that is very important. Have a nice week, and happy T Day, Valerie

  3. It's very interesting to document a typical week in the life of.... I plan to do that too but I won't do it during the holidays as there is no typical day, but after the holidays in September when everything goes back to normal I'm going to do it too.
The sun flowers are beautiful and the glorious faces of your little ones are even better!
The salad looks yummy. I love quinoa and use it a lot.
    Tanks for sharing your week,
    Have a good Tuesday,

  4. I am going to enjoy following you during this week in your life. Mine would be very, very boring, I fear. I like how much you do in a single day, but I guess that's a bit like lots of active people with children. I have to admit, I'm a sucker for sunflowers. These are gorgeous photos and what fun to capture the children in their seed heads.

Thanks for sharing your day, your lemon water, and your fun excursion to the sunflower farm with us for T this Tuesday.
