This week's Art Journal page is all about layers with stencils, modeling paste,and acrylic and watercolor paints. I tried pearlescent paints on the textured flowers and there is a shine to them .
Love the texture from the modeling paste. But I am not happy with my writing on this page.
This is one of Julie's stencils that I got last week. I love her peacock feather stencil too. Planning to get that soon.

such a fun and creatively textural and colorful page Susan! I don't think your handwriting is bad but I don't like mine either which is why I own many alphabet stamps to use or I type and print my words :) Love how you traced around the stenciled images. Gotta love Julie's stencils too!

Love how you always do something new and exciting each week, always makes me smile. The handwriting is good to me, honestly I just want to stare at the page and not the words, haha, it's so STUNNING!!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE all the texture!!. The most beautiful busy and textured pages I've seen this week!:) More is certainly more. WOW. I love the how the layers working together so perfectly. Oh, no worries about the lettering, the background is too gorgeous :). Or you could always wrote with black india ink over them, if you like. Hugs.
