I did a layout in white on white card stock! This was the theme of the Second Floor Challenge hosted by Julie and Nathalie, http://balzerdesigns.typepad.com/balzer_designs/2012/10/second-floor-challenge-10-white-cardstock.html Click on this link and you can find the details of this interesting challenge.
This was truly a challenge for me as I would never have thought of creating something with white as the theme. But once I decided to try this so many ideas started pouring into my mind and finally, this is what I did.The flowers are part of the mini mums stencil from the crafters workshop and was created using modeling paste.I also added a layer of pearlescent white watercolor to them. The writing was done on the doily (my pen didn't write well first), a self-stick butterfly was added and lastly white lace ribbons were also attached.
A very simple but beautiful layout. Thanks to this challenge, I think I am going to try more layouts using white as my theme.
Thank you

Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely layout. What a great idea you had for all the white, LOVE LOVE IT!!! How sweet that picture is of your boys,it's perfect for this page. HOpe you will do this again, fun to use white in different ways.
I've done this before and loved the results.
I'm hoping to post a kids craft/thankful project you might like. Actually it can be for just adults too.
Happy Weekend!
Susan, this is too cute! Your little one looks as though he is thinking "mom, I don't think he can hold me!"
