Here is my Art Journal creation for this week :
The Flower Girl
I didn't feel like adding a quote to this page. I just love how it has turned out.
After I completed my Fall Journal, I made two more journals of the same kind. As winter officially starts only the next month, I created the above journal for sketching the things that I and my family like. The cover of the journal is also hand painted. I had done this a while back and it was among the stash of art pages that I had created.
I have already started drawing in it. You can see someone peeking from there-:) But I'm keeping that for my next post.

Such a beautiful girl peeking out from amongst the purple flowers. Your journaling is so good. I have tried but I just can't get the knack of it. I like to see your journal pages. They inspire me to try harder.
ReplyDeleteI simply adore your delightful flower girl Susan and love how you are making your own handmade journals to art in!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty girl peeking out from the flowers and I love all the textures and techniques that you've used!
ReplyDeleteHello Susan! WOW, your girl is gorgeous and full of color and texture, love her!! I bet you had fun making this and using all the supplies, great job on it. Your second girl is so cute and full of color too and fun too. YAY for another homemade journal, cute tiger I see peeking out. Can't wait to see more and happy your continuing with these journals for the seasons. You will have to do a winter one and a spring one next year. Have a good weekend, I may try to post this morning if time too. hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love the mystic you've created by surrounding the girl in the first portrait with flowers. I also like the cool accordion journal you made for your next series. Blessings!
