The DLP challenge for May 2nd was to use Fabric in our journal page.
The fabric that I have added here is on her dress. I used a gold ribbon for the top part and the frill. The red is part of a wedding invitation card-:) The black stem of the flower is also a fabric material. The rest of the page was created using acrylic and watercolor paints, more doodling and some collage work.
Here is a close up of my girl.
As each weeks pass, I guess I care less about perfection and more on enjoying the process and stretching my imagination to come up with something unique.
I am so Thankful to art to the 5th team members for the Documented Life Project as I feel I am gradually evolving an artistic style of my own-:)
Have a great weekend
